Maximum holding period experiments
All four models use the same original 128-symbol indicator research, trade the same 228 symbols, and share the same entry and stop/target rules.
Maximum trading sessions (entry day = Day 1)
Each model gets an independent simulated $100,000 portfolio. New trades are entered at the next regular-session open; stops and targets may exit earlier. The Day 3 exit uses the daily closing-price proxy.

Does holding a stock for 3 sessions improve results?
All four models use exactly the same preselected indicator combinations and stock universe. Only the maximum allowed time in a position changes.

How positions exited
The session cap closes remaining positions at the session's daily close; stops, targets and risk-off exits still take priority.

Performance and risk metrics
Daily OHLC bars cannot validate live intraday fills, opening range, or intraday VWAP. The last-session forced exit is based on DAILY CLOSE and modeled costs. The frozen strategy also requires an entry-timing look-ahead audit before its returns can be trusted for live decisions.
